This jewelry is handmade in Colombia. Women living in low-income rural areas are trained to become expert artisans and employed in the production of each piece. Teaching techniques and improving skills allows these women independence and the ability to work from home.  This generates much needed revenue while making it possible for each artisan to provide for their families and enabling them to be present with their children and loved ones. This socially responsible practice is designed to support micro-economies and cottage industry in rural Columbia.

This bracelet's is embellished with sterling silver all along its band, like a line of teeth! Bracelet is adjustable and band measures .4 inches wide.
